Safeguards against accidentally putting incorrect fuel into Diesel Vehicles

The Diesel Fill replaces your existing screw in fuel cap - making it impossible to fill up with incorrect fuel again

The Diesel Fill is designed to fit about 90% of modern diesel vehicles in Australian 

Simply screw off your diesel fuel cap and screw in Diesel Fill

  • Diesel Fill has a locking plate that physically prevents you putting petrol or adblu into your vehicle - the locking mechanism can only be unlocked by a diesel fuel nozzle which is larger than the other fuel nozzles at the bowser.
  • Diesel Fill has been manufactured using the highest quality products including stainless steel and Polyoxymethylene (POM), which is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability.
  • Diesel Fill has been stringently tested for strength and quality with 12,000 simulated insertions to guarantee it will last the lifetime of your vehicle when used as directed.

Incorrect fuel will harm your diesel vehicle.  Petrol is essentially a solvent to diesel fuel systems causing extensive damage to all components very quickly.

Adblu is a mixture of water and ammonia - water in diesel is the most common cause of diesel fuel system failures in Australia.

If you introduce the wrong fuel to your vehicle DO NOT turn on your ignition, move your car to a safe location and drain your fuel tank.  You will have to remove all fuel, flush the fuel system and change the filters.

However, if you start the engine and drive away – the cost of repairs will be at least $1,500 but in most cases, it will be in the tens of thousands of dollars.

Diesel Fill cannot be used with high flow diesel nozzles, but it can be removed and re-installed as required

DELIVERY & SHIPPING POLICY

DELIVERY LOCATIONS

Specialist Tools Australia makes deliveries in both Australia & World Wide.

If your delivery method is made by Australia Post your order can be delivered to PO Boxes.  If another courier option is requested they may or may not enable PO Box delivery.

International Shipping can be done through Australia Post or with TNT as preferred by the customer.  The costs of International Shipping will be assessed on each individual case depending on the weight of the item, the destination and time of required receipt.  These matters will be discussed directly with each customer by email communication. Please see Orders sent outside Australia below.

PROCESSING YOUR ORDER

An e-mail confirmation is sent to your e-mail address after placing your order. Please keep this e-mail as proof of your purchase.

We are more than happy to include delivery instructions as instructed.  If you choose to have your order left when you are not at home, responsibility is yours but contact us immediately to discuss any issues.

Delivery is between Monday and Friday.

TRACKING ORDERS

All orders delivered within Australia automatically have tracking.  If your order has not arrived please contact our customer service department for assistance in tracking items at sales@responsiveengineering.com.au

International orders are sent with Standard Airmail service.  This service comes with tracking and your tracking number will be supplied if requested. If we are requested to make alternative shipping arrangements we cannot guarantee tracking and will not be responsible for the delivery of orders sent internationally

DELIVERY TIMES

Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days – We endeavor to get your order to you ASAP. Once your order has been dispatched, delivery time will be subject to the delivery service selected but depending on location it is 2-7 days.

IMPORTANT: Please check that all items received are what you have ordered. If you have received an incorrect item DO NOT OPEN IT.  We will not accept any returns or provide refunds of items that have been opened, tampered with, or not in their original condition. If you receive a damaged item please contact us within 4 days of delivery and do not throw it away as we will require proof that the item has been damaged (for example: images e-mailed to us of the damaged item.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices on the website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice.

ORDERS SENT OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA

  • Delivery costs vary depending on the country the parcel is being delivered to and the delivery method chosen. Specialist Tools Australia uses Standard Air Postage which includes tracking.  If an alternative form of postage is required contact customer service to discuss options.
  • If an international order is entitled to a GST refund.  This will occur after payment and before order has been posted.
  • You must pay the Order Amount at the time of submitting the Order. Specialist Tools Australia accepts Visa or Mastercard, Direct Bank Deposit, PayPal and AfterPay.
  • Some parcels sent overseas will be quarantined by Customs until an additional fee is paid to Customs to release the parcel to you. Please check the applicable Custom laws in your country before placing your order. Specialist Tools Australia is not liable to pay such fees and is not responsible for the rejection of your parcel

Returns

Refund and Returns Policy

Returns 
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) 
- Tools with obvious signs of use 
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@responsiveengineering.com.au. 

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable)

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
