Where self-diagnosis stops, it is essential to trace the root of the problem that generated the error code, thanks to SPECTRUM: the analysis of continuous and impulsive signals (pwm) is much simpler than the traditional oscilloscope and the piloting of the electromechanical components allows the operator to immediately check their functionality.

Almost half a century of experience in the automotive sector of GOVONI The ToolMaker has given life to SPECTRUM, a multifunctional and unconventional diagnostic device that projects itself towards the future of car repairs, becoming an essential support for verifying the correct functioning of car components, SUVs, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, campers (12V).
Originally born from the need to test the correct functioning of components by the biggest spare parts manufacturers in the automotive sector, it soon became the ideal partner also for the car repairing mechanic and garage owner, of the specialized workshop (example: pump specialist, diesel specialist), of the junkyard (to check the functioning of spare parts that can still be used and put on sale), the automotive spare parts warehouse, etc.

A few examples? SPECTRUM can activate and then test all petrol injectors (direct; indirect injection), diesel and piezoelectric injectors, gas injectors (LPG, CNG), E.G.R. valves, throttle valves, glow plugs, fans, turbocharger actuators, phase variators, flow, pressure regulators, etc. The device can perform vehicle mass test, component inductive test, CAN network test (power supply, masses, CAN H, CAN L, Power latch, CAN network closing resistors, etc.); it can simulate a resistance, generate voltage (0-12 V) to any component to be tested, and still an infinite number of functionalities. Not stricltly on the engine, it can drive the gearbox management actuators, the mechatronic solenoid valves, the air conditioning system, the solenoid valves on the compressor, the electromagnetic clutch, the air diffusion flap actuators, drive and test the speed internal radiator fan, etc.

SPECTRUM technology allows you to test and activate each component and sensor of the vehicle, testing its correct functionality in a practical, effective and professional way; with SPECTRUM it is possible to check the operation of the components and activate actuators directly on the vehicle, powered by the vehicle’s battery, or even perform bench tests, with a common bench power supply. Spectrum goes further, and compared to conventional diagnostics it allows the test and activation of components and sensors with a single instrument, verifying the precise problem and any malfunction directly on the vehicle, and allowing useless waste of time in wrong components replacement attempts (in addition to saving time and money from making all tests with a single tool).

Lightweight, ergonomic and easy to handle with one hand thanks to the “one touch” control wheel, it becomes the ideal tool when you have to act directly on the vehicle, especially in tight spaces; its interface, designed for the car repairer’s needs, immediately recognizes the cable installed, preparing the user for the functions and tests possible with that particular accessory, and returning clear and easy-to-interpret results. DELIVERY & SHIPPING POLICY

DELIVERY LOCATIONS

Specialist Tools Australia makes deliveries in both Australia & World Wide.

If your delivery method is made by Australia Post your order can be delivered to PO Boxes.  If another courier option is requested they may or may not enable PO Box delivery.

International Shipping can be done through Australia Post or with TNT as preferred by the customer.  The costs of International Shipping will be assessed on each individual case depending on the weight of the item, the destination and time of required receipt.  These matters will be discussed directly with each customer by email communication. Please see Orders sent outside Australia below.

PROCESSING YOUR ORDER

An e-mail confirmation is sent to your e-mail address after placing your order. Please keep this e-mail as proof of your purchase.

We are more than happy to include delivery instructions as instructed.  If you choose to have your order left when you are not at home, responsibility is yours but contact us immediately to discuss any issues.

Delivery is between Monday and Friday.

TRACKING ORDERS

All orders delivered within Australia automatically have tracking.  If your order has not arrived please contact our customer service department for assistance in tracking items at sales@responsiveengineering.com.au

International orders are sent with Standard Airmail service.  This service comes with tracking and your tracking number will be supplied if requested. If we are requested to make alternative shipping arrangements we cannot guarantee tracking and will not be responsible for the delivery of orders sent internationally

DELIVERY TIMES

Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days – We endeavor to get your order to you ASAP. Once your order has been dispatched, delivery time will be subject to the delivery service selected but depending on location it is 2-7 days.

IMPORTANT: Please check that all items received are what you have ordered. If you have received an incorrect item DO NOT OPEN IT.  We will not accept any returns or provide refunds of items that have been opened, tampered with, or not in their original condition. If you receive a damaged item please contact us within 4 days of delivery and do not throw it away as we will require proof that the item has been damaged (for example: images e-mailed to us of the damaged item.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

All prices on the website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice.

ORDERS SENT OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA

  • Delivery costs vary depending on the country the parcel is being delivered to and the delivery method chosen. Specialist Tools Australia uses Standard Air Postage which includes tracking.  If an alternative form of postage is required contact customer service to discuss options.
  • If an international order is entitled to a GST refund.  This will occur after payment and before order has been posted.
  • You must pay the Order Amount at the time of submitting the Order. Specialist Tools Australia accepts Visa or Mastercard, Direct Bank Deposit, PayPal and AfterPay.
  • Some parcels sent overseas will be quarantined by Customs until an additional fee is paid to Customs to release the parcel to you. Please check the applicable Custom laws in your country before placing your order. Specialist Tools Australia is not liable to pay such fees and is not responsible for the rejection of your parcel

Returns

Refund and Returns Policy

Returns 
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) 
- Tools with obvious signs of use 
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@responsiveengineering.com.au. 

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
