Protect your diesel fuel system from contaminated diesel with our pre-filter Diesel Water Watch kit.

Diesel Water Watch is easily fitted before the factory filter, and will continually check the incoming fuel, sounding an audible and visual alarm if water is detected.

Diesel Water Watch does not use filters so does not cause restriction in the fuel system.  Diesel Water Watch removes and traps fuel contamination preventing damage to fuel pumps, injectors and common rail.

  • No filters to restrict fuel flow or vehicle performance.  Filters can’t stop or separate water under even light pressure or suction.

  • Water Watch has a patented electronic sensor, not a float or electrode system, so function is not reduced by the presence of particulates or sludge in the fuel collecting around the water detector.  

  • Patented Diffuser system is designed to effectively remove water and contaminants from fuel at high flow rates.  The Sensor is easily removed to drain off contaminants held in the glass bowl away from the main fuel flow.

  • It’s not a sedimenter, so you’re not relying on the water and particulates to settle into a bowl for the alarm to work (which, is often too late for your fuel system; contamination happens very quickly with the high flow rates in Common Rail Diesels).

  • All components of Water Watch are designed to operate at high temperatures, high pressures and high fuel rates used by Common Rail Diesels.  No distortion or malfunction of components. 
  • No regular maintenance or replacement required.  Visual checks will let you know the quality of your fuel and you can see any contamination. 

  • Water Watch is available to fit any common rail diesel fuel system from small cars through to larger vehicles, including industrial and marine applications.

  • Bracket kits are available to fit most popular common rail diesels – making Water Watch very easy to install.

Specialist Tools Australia makes deliveries in both Australia & World Wide.

If your delivery method is made by Australia Post your order can be delivered to PO Boxes.  If another courier option is requested they may or may not enable PO Box delivery.

International Shipping can be done through Australia Post or with TNT as preferred by the customer.  The costs of International Shipping will be assessed on each individual case depending on the weight of the item, the destination and time of required receipt.  These matters will be discussed directly with each customer by email communication. An e-mail confirmation is sent to your e-mail address after placing your order. Please keep this e-mail as proof of your purchase.

We are more than happy to include delivery instructions as instructed.  If you choose to have your order left when you are not at home, responsibility is yours but contact us immediately to discuss any issues.

Delivery is between Monday and Friday.


All orders delivered within Australia automatically have tracking.  If your order has not arrived please contact our customer service department for assistance in tracking items at

International orders are sent with Standard Airmail service.  This service comes with tracking and your tracking number will be supplied if requested. If we are requested to make alternative shipping arrangements we cannot guarantee tracking and will not be responsible for the delivery of orders sent internationally


Orders are usually dispatched within 2 business days – We endeavor to get your order to you ASAP. Once your order has been dispatched, delivery time will be subject to the delivery service selected but depending on location it is 2-7 days.

IMPORTANT: Please check that all items received are what you have ordered. If you have received an incorrect item DO NOT OPEN IT.  We will not accept any returns or provide refunds of items that have been opened, tampered with, or not in their original condition. If you receive a damaged item please contact us within 4 days of delivery and do not throw it away as we will require proof that the item has been damaged (for example: images e-mailed to us of the damaged item.


All prices on the website are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice.


  • Delivery costs vary depending on the country the parcel is being delivered to and the delivery method chosen. Specialist Tools Australia uses Standard Air Postage which includes tracking.  If an alternative form of postage is required contact customer service to discuss options.
  • If an international order is entitled to a GST refund.  This will occur after payment and before order has been posted.
  • You must pay the Order Amount at the time of submitting the Order. Specialist Tools Australia accepts Visa or Mastercard, Direct Bank Deposit, PayPal and AfterPay.
  • Some parcels sent overseas will be quarantined by Customs until an additional fee is paid to Customs to release the parcel to you. Please check the applicable Custom laws in your country before placing your order. Specialist Tools Australia is not liable to pay such fees and is not responsible for the rejection of your parcel


Refund and Returns Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable) 
- Tools with obvious signs of use 
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
